Coalition to Protect EMS will focus its efforts for the foreseeable future on two primary activities:

  1. Educating the public about the importance of emergency medical services and the threat posed by insurance reimbursement cuts in this area, through creation of facts sheets and informational content for the ProtectEMS.org website and other publication and distribution channels and letters to the editors of high profile publications; and
  2. Supporting legislative proposals through engagement in direct lobbying of state legislators and grassroots public advocacy, and opposing any bills, proposals, efforts and campaigns that adversely impact emergency medical services.
